As an extra to the Adriaen Willaert Series, they release a third live recording, this time with work by Jacquet de Mantua. After the first live recording of Missa Inviolata and a series of sacred motets and secular madrigals, a second mass follows: the Missa 'Chiare dolci e fresche acque'.

Jacquet de Mantua (1483-1559) was a French Renaissance composer who was mostly active in Italy. De Mantua was known for his sacred vocal music and influential between Josquin and Palestrina, his compositions reflect a transitional polyphonic style. With careful craftsmanship, his music evolved from late 15th-century practices to embrace pervasive imitation. He wrote 23 masses and over 100 motets, often for state occasions.
