Alessandro Deljavan

Italian pianist Alessandro Deljavan has captivated audiences around the world for over two decades with his stunning virtuosity and deeply expressive performances. A child prodigy, he began playing before the age of two and was winning prestigious competitions by age nine, including the Concours musical de France (1st Prize, Paris, 1996). His performances have earned glowing praise from critics, with the Dallas Morning News describing his Chopin Études as both “jaw-dropping” and “heart-stopping.”

A prolific recording artist, Deljavan has released over 70 albums, covering an expansive range of solo and chamber repertoire. His recent projects include a historically informed recording on period keyboard instruments, featuring works by J.S. and J.C. Bach. His interpretations, especially of Chopin, have drawn accolades for their imagination, finesse, and emotional power.

Deljavan has performed in more than 20 countries, collaborating with top orchestras and appearing at major international festivals. He is also a passionate chamber musician, working regularly with artists such as Daniela Cammarano and forming Trio Laetitia with cellist Amedeo Cicchese.

In addition to his busy concert and recording schedule, Deljavan is an active educator. He serves as Professor of Piano at the U. Giordano Conservatory in Italy, is Artistic Director of the Opera Master school in Villamagna, and joins the faculty of the International Piano Academy at Lake Como. His artistry continues to resonate with audiences and critics alike, marking him as one of the most compelling pianists of his generation.
